After the death of Filiberto Farci, in February of 1965, almost twenty years to haul a veil of silence on the figure and work of this illustrious seuese. We have to wait the 80 because it's attention on "Sardissimo. After the publication of a profile posted by Francesco Alziator in his "History of Literature di Sardegna" (Edizioni 3T, Cagliari 1982, p.. 498-500), however, is the signed, Joseph Deplano (with "The Life and Work of Filiberto Farci "Bibliographical bulletin in Sardinia, IV, 1987, pp. 83, 89) to contribute significantly to remove the cloak of silence and its activities (news, editorial, conferences and the internet) to awaken the attention sull'indimenticato Filiberto Farci. Since that time took the form of a strong, widespread and growing interest that continues today on this unforgettable political figure and scholar, the pride of the entire community seuese. Example of a "virtuous humanity", as defined by the writer and journalist Paul Pillonca during the presentation of the recent publication of the FARC "Joel Flores and Other Stories", held in Cagliari February 18, 2011.
Filiberto Farci, called "the sardissimo", was born in Seui in the heart of Sardinia, in 1882. He completed his higher studies in Cagliari. In 1908 he graduated in law. In 1916, following the second letter in Turin. The third, in philosophy, can not discuss the thesis for his refusal to wear a black shirt. For several years he taught in several colleges of the peninsula and Sardinia, but with the coming to power of fascism, he left teaching and returned to his post nell'Intendenza of Finance.

In 1903 he published "Rusticana," a collection of short stories with an introduction by Grazia Deledda. His essays are also numerous, including: "Domenico Alberto Azuni: Sardinian jurist and historian of the century. XVIII, published on the occasion of the funeral of the founder of the maritime law, and in 1923: "A philosopher poet of Sardinia, Antioco Pumpkin."
Farci is also a novelist and journalist. Besides a very versatile genius, has a personal style, generous and sincere, which differs from the other writers of the period. It is precisely in his novel, "Ivy on the ruins, we find an illuminating example of these it is for, where there is strong feeling and highlights its political and social commitment, which early in life he was attracted by the movement of ideas aimed at 'autonomy and social redemption, politics and economics of Sardinia. The novel, while denouncing the grave political situation Social and Sardinia after World War I, will instill in the consciousness a message of hope, rebirth of the island. The FARC operates in a delicate time in history, during which widens the debate tended to perfect the discovery and exploitation of Sardinian culture, clearly expressed with a denunciation of the evils of the island and a critique of the centralist policy pursued by the government of Rome. Friend of Sebastiano Satta, Francesco Ciusa and Emilio Lussier, champion of the autonomy of Sardinia, the FARC is recognized as one of the forerunners of the Sardinian autonomist movement, before the foundation of the Sardinian Action Party. It was also signed by the foreground and soul of the newspaper "the Sardinian people." A periodical founded in 1917 with Jean-Marie She Spano, Joseph Musio, Michele Saba, Emanuele Piga, Joseph Ardau, Umberto Cao and Egidio Pilia. Following the takeover of fascism and suppression of the freedom with which the regime agrees to silence all his opponent, this proud seuese retires though seemingly aloof and silent. In fact, during the two decades, will continue to liaise with the various anti-fascists, including those in exile, such as Lussier. "In times of silence, Farci showed, by example, how can you resist, and how you can be instead of fighting to defend its own ideals and hopes, especially when they are hopes and ideals the people to whom it belongs. - Reminds Barranu Peppino - Farci was what is known as a man in one piece, an oak ogliastrina straight and hard that he lived without bending to fascism, severely judge those who had submitted to the fascist regime and of those, above all, that uses it to satisfy personal ambitions and interests. " During these dark years of the history of our country, Farci focuses its energies and directs his literary production to the young, "... keeping the old program in practice: Alere flammam, stoke the flames of Sardinian identity through the defense of his people, of the Sardinian people. " So remember Barranu.
With the release of Sardinia and the return of democracy and freedom we find between recasts Psd'Az of Cagliari, of which he became the first secretary of the city after the war. As Councillor for Finance is also part of the first municipal council, led by Cesar Pinto.
and he held it now adheres to the foreground in the Sardinian Action Party Socialist, the political formation led by Emilio Lussier, founded in 1948 by splitting from Psd'Az. When, after two years of the party joins the ranks of the Italian Socialist Party Filiberto Farci is the only leading figure to disassociate itself from that of the same from political choice and Lussier.
Disappointed recent events and the growing barbarism of the policy Farci retired to private life. But the fierce fighting spirit in him who is victorious and has not yet laid down their arms once the political battle. For it is in the front row, in 1953, in the fight against electoral reform in a majority sense ("law fraud").
