difference between anxiety and fear

Anxiety is a manifestation of anxiety and tension resulting from bringing a hazard that can be known or unknown.
Fear is an emotion that involves the body as a whole and is triggered by a stimulus situation prticolare circumscribed. This situation undermines the first psychophysiological indices (sweating, tachycardia, ...) on the other's subjective states (cognitive disorganization, emotional ...); also affects motor behavior in that the first reaction is that of the flight.
Within the behavioral therapy, the distinction is not accepted as it is believed that the difference between anxiety and fear is only a quantitative nature. We distinguish between fears focal (circumscribed) and widespread fears (anxiety), environmental events induce the subject to believe that, outside its field of knowledge you are doing something for him dangerous. It 'important to remember that fear is a manifestation of the conservation and is pathological when it compromises the quality of life of the subject. The goal of behavioral therapy is to change the subject's overt behavior.
